UEFA decided to unfurl a huge banner on the pitch of the Super Cup final soccer match between Tottenham and Paris St-Germain last night (Wednesday), which read “Stop killing children – Stop killing civilians”. They also paraded two “Palestinian” children around, as well as children from Ukraine and other countries.
The message could have been shown at any match they chose. However, many believe it was deliberately timed to coincide with Tottenham playing. Tottenham has a significant Jewish fanbase both in London and worldwide. Surely, they wouldn’t do that intentionally, would they?
UEFA only made three posts about this(which are all embedded below). One with the banner in the middle of the pitch, and a further two with a “Palestinian” boy and girl. It’s surprising that they didn’t feature any of the other children in their posts.
It should also be noted that neither child looks malnourished!
